So happy with my childminder!

I just wanted to post this somewhere. My 12 mo DD just had two settling in sessions with her childminders before I return to p/t work next week (2 days). I was dreading it so much as really reluctant to leave her. Anyway, no tears either day, she was happy to see me when I picked her up AND they managed to get her to have a nap on the second day (nightmare child when it comes to sleep, at any time!). She had a great time playing with the older children and is going to really enjoy it. I'm almost looking forward to work now.

Ah that's nice. I also have a fabulous childminder and DD loves her. She has been going 2 days a week and is starting 4 days next week and I couldn't be happier with her being there :)

Me too! I love her and think she is a perfect cm in every way. So does DS (23 months) :)

I feel so fortunate.

Thank You Belinda, we here so many negative stories in our profession, that it is lovely to here a good one.

Dd was with her wonderful childminder for nearly 4 years. She was always amazing with dd and we both miss her now .

I know I just can't stop. She is so wonderful :)
