Nanny rates of pay

Hello

Our nanny is due for a pay review- just wondering if there is a view out there on what a payrise would be this year. I know generally inflation is low.

Our nanny is great and I don't want her to feel underpaid but can't pay more than market rate. We're in Hertfordshire.

Thanks

I'm in Herts.

At my last pay review I did get a rise - 3%, which was the same as my mb got at work. I know nannies who have stayed on the same rate as their bosses did not get pay rises. Given the economic situation they are fine with it and happy to have a job.

I've just started a new job on £11ph gross, which was slightly more than the last job (came to end as youngest charge at school full time) but not by much.
