I am looking to find a child minder for 2 maybe 3 days a week... how do you find ones near your home? I am moving so, word of mouth won't really help as I dont know anyone in the new area.... can anyone suggest a website? what qualifications do they need to have? can anyone give me an idea of how much they cost?(in north London)...

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Contact the borough council for the area to which you are moving. They will be able to send you a list of all childminders in the area.

With the full postcode of where you are moving to:

You can try childcarefinder.direct.gov.uk but it may not list all childminders.

Looking on Childcare.co.uk may also give you an idea of costs.
