As a temporary measure the mum of the family we are going to have for childminding has agreed for us looking after her family as nannies at her house(me and my DH). My DH has got his CRB back so she wants us to start at the start of September.

We are all hoping it won't be too long before my CRB comes through so we can start the childminding from home once the registration comes through.

As preparation to be starting up the childminding we have of course done our policys and procedures. What else do we need to make sure that we have in place? Paperwork I mean that I need to make.

I know that I have proberbly asked this before but I can't find it now and I want to double check I have everything ready so we can start straight away.

So she's happy for DH to start... but what about you, if your CRB isn't back and she is wanting you both to have CRB checks.

She is happy for us both to start but I'm not allowed to unsupervised, change nappies etc. DH has to do the nappies.

so why your crb/paperwork comes through, your dh is going to work at her house being a male nanny

why do you need to be there as well, i dont know what ages you have but surely dh can look after her children and as a nanny you can have 3 under 1's if need be,as long as only 2 familys

tbh seems a bit pointless you being at this womans house if you cant look after the kids unsupervised/chnage nannies tec

why doesnt dh go alone?

The older girls are 5 and 7 so it will be helpful for me to be there to do stuff with them. For example art and craft or read a book with them.

I won't be able to do things ie nappie changing but I will be able to do things with the girls.

Besides we can play with the baby together. He's 15 months old.
