rate of pay for babysitters?

hi all,
any advice on rates of pay for babysitters, nannies or childminders please would be welcome? i work from home so am 'on the premises' so so far dear friends and grannys have helped me out for a couple of hours to allow me to keep small company ticking over in prep for going back to work in feb but need to budget for then!

You would either be looking for a nanny or mothers help perhaps a mothers help moving into first nanny job would suit you best as you would be around to offer some advice if needed but need someone with a little experience who can get on with things without too much direction.

Dependant on where you are based the above would be around £6-£7 gross an hr.
