Nannies and car insurance

I am about to hire a new nanny and she will be using our car. Her own car is pretty beaten up and I'm worried she'll do the same to ours! We will pay for her insurance but if she damages the car is it reasonable/lawful for us to ask her to pay or do we take the hit (literally)!

Don't know - expect you may have to take the hit as it's your insurance and your car.

Have you checked that you can get them insured on your car? If they are young, if they have points, if the engine size if quite large, then it may be that your insurer won't take it on.
