Anyone have an alternative to sparklebox?

I don't want to use Sparklebox for obvious reasons but I don't know any other sites - I'm looking for labels already made up that I can print and laminate for my toy box labels, so I'll need ones such as 'lego', 'dolls', 'sensory', 'trains' etc, I would make them myself but I just don't have time at ALL for this sort of thing atm. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

how about just writing in large font on word and using argos catalouge for a picture?

This blog has some suggestions, though the ones I've looked at are only just starting & don't have masses of resources yet.

Try searching in the resource section of TES - there are loads of labels for Reception, etc.

Take a photo of the actual things that are in the box, or of the children playing with them.

You could try primaryresources.co.uk - it has lots of stuff loaded by teachers.

Teacher's Pet is good.

I have recently been told that sparkle box has now been sold and is okay to use. Don't know if this is correct or not so haven't actually used it again. Been trying to find out but can't find any info about it.

As IT support manager at a junior school, have other reasons for mistrusting sparkle box -it has a toolbar which it will install unless you tell it not to which may hijack your search function and which can prove tricky to completely uninstall.
This may be due as much to incompetence as malice, but either way it's not something I want on the computers I look after...
