Specifically Battersea/Wandsworth area? Those I've found so far have all lived in flats and I really really want to find someone with outside space. I am going back to work soon but haven't found a CM so am using a nursery at the moment but would prefer to use a CM for at least part of the week (if not all) from January. Any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

I live in tooting and have a lovely big house and currently pick up and drop off from Balham. So it might be possible to make a similar arrangement with someone further afield.
Its a tough one as its an expensive area to live which is why you have found so many who live in flats, I know mums like me who have retrained who live in the Northcote road / nightingale lane area so they do exist. The best way to find someone is to contact the Wandsworth Childminders Association and ask for all in the area ( even if they dont currently have vacancies ) as its quite a long way off.
You could also try and advert on netmums as I know people have success on there and its free!
Good luck

Probably out of your area but my daughter's childminder in Streatham is great. She lives in a flat but has a garden.

JenniPenni - if/when you have spaces let me know - we may be interested in coming to you part of the week.
