Offering Personal Live-In Companionship for Older Lady

Hello

I'm looking for a live-in Personal Companionship position in Brighton/Hove
with an older lady. Would anyone know of a reliable agency that I could advertise with?

Although I don't have professional experience working with elderly people, I'm keen to provide assistance around the house or accompany on appointments for 10 hours a week. In exchange I hope to be able to live for free, but of course I would pay my share of utility bills.

I have already contacted Age Concern and the Independent Living Association, but they are not sure who I should register with. I'd be happy for any pointers!

Regards,
Jill

Have you had a look on gumtree? I know of an older lady who needs a PA for health reasons and I know she uses gumtree a lot!

The Lady also carries these types of adverts - so it might be worth having a look.

BTW - I DON'T buy The Lady but it is given away free at the boat terminal and DP often picks it up for my mum to browse through...
