CM Club - Does anyone know anything about having a photographer into your setting?

Let me explain - a photographer friend of mine is wanting to offer their services to nurseries and possibly Cms but unsure of the correct procedure for contacting appropriately or what checks would need to be done. I have said defo CRB enhanced, but not sure what else. Have suggested contacting local NCMA office and NDNA hq for further advice if anyone has any further guidance I would be most grateful TIA

It would be useful to have CRB check, however as I understand it checks are done through a nominee now, so if a contractor worked regularly at your setting as say a gardner or cleaner you would send off for a CRB on their behalf, however photography is prob only going to be once per year? in each setting, therefore I wouldn't bother with CRB just log in as visitor, stick an ID badge on and ensure that photographer was never in sole charge during the session IYSWIM

Alternatively you could nominate your friend for CRB, you can get forms from your local FIS
