incision still sore 1 month ater c section

Last few days my incision has started to hurt a lot. Is still very swollen above and below and very tender to touch. also feels like it is burning. The cut itself is clean and dry. Is this normal? Also started bleeding again yesterday after 2 weeks of no blood. Is not heavy but could I have ruptured my internal stiches or would I really be in pain???

Sounds like its infected. You should definitely get it looked at by the Dr

Just back from Doctor. Scanned everything and looks ok, no rupture or infection but looks like I have a UTI as lots of blood in urine. great! At least nothing more serious though. 10 days of antibiotics now. Not sure why incision still hurts but he didn't seemed worried as all looked ok. Just want to get better and feel strong again. Desperate to give my 3 yr old a huge cuddle and run in the park with her.

So glad its all ok (apart from the UTI) Have you one of those L shaped feeding pillows? If you put that around your tummy you might well be able to give your 3 yr old a good cuddle if she sat on your knee.
