First pregnancy I only felt baby move when he had hiccups!

This time it's like a litter of kittens in a sack!

I am getting to my de date and over the past couple of days she has slowed down but still reasonably active.

Is this a sign she is getting ready (please!!!) to come out or is she just getting squashed? Is it true that they slow down just before you go into labour?

this pregnancy is so differen to the first - I don't know where I am!

Oh DS (first and only, so maybe take this with a pinh of salt!) barely moved in the last week of my PG. Reckon he just had no room left all

If you're worried can you ring the mat unit and they can put you on a trace (I did this about a month before DS was born as I got so freaked that I hand't felt him move all day...remembered this at 2am....They were fab about it)

Thanks

Not worried about movement - she is still wiggling around at least 10 times a day.

Was just hoping it was a sign birth is imminent! Have been trying all the old wives tales to bring on labour but none have worked!!!

My first pg was exactly the same, dd had hiccups every day but I never once felt her move apart from that. With this pg she has been hyperactive from about 13 weeks, but now I am 37+3 I haven't felt so much movement in the last week or so, still heartbeat is fine and she is still moving, albeit not so much, so I'm not worried. Like you I figure it's just getting a bit cramped in there.
