Just the above really, had midwife appt today and baby (DC2) is engaged but back to back. She mentioned the usual posture, all fours, lying on left advice but what are the chances of moving the baby around at this late stage?

I have also been having painful cramps so she thinks labour may be sooner rather than later !

I had a traumatic time with first labour with lots of intervention and have so wanted this time to be 'easier' - any advice welcomed!

I am sorry to hear this as most op babies turn in labor I should imagine you have a pretty good chance. My first was op BTW and he never turned was born op and I had no epidural and no intervention so being op does not necessarily mean there will be intervention. It is also your second so you should have a easier time anyway.
