C-section scar - different question!

The other thread started me thinking about my own scar.... I had a emcs over 3 years ago and while the scar is not very noticeable, I do have a sort of ridge of what I presume is scar tissue above the scar. Is this normal and will it ever go down?

I also wondered what will happen, if anything, to the scar/area when I get to the end of this pregnancy? Will I be left with a really saggy bit above the scar? And if I end up with another c-section do you think it will be worse?

I haven't got a ridge like the one you describe. Was an elective CS 2+ years ago. The scar did feel quite raised for a while afterwards, but not since around 6 months after CS, I think.

I've got a ridge like that. Scar tissue is different in different people. Mine was quite bad, apparently (surgeon during second section said there was a lot of scar tissue).

After my second section the scar and ridge were no worse, and perhaps even slightly better, as I think the surgeon stitched me up more neatly this time (had staples with first section).
