My cousin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl 5 weeks ago.
However 5 weeks on she is in considerable pain still which bad enough for her to have trouble holding the baby. She is also very badly swollen still giving the appearance she is still pregnant.
The hospital has done scans and said she may have a blocked bowel or adhesions, but seem to be giving her little help. I am very worried.
Does anyone have experience of similar complications?
DP who is a clinical scientist has said she needs to demand a second opinion from the nearest specialist obs and gynea hospital which is within 10 miles of her home.
Thoughts anyone?
TIA
