Clotting - 2 weeks after childbirth

Hi there. As title says I've just passed a huge blob (sorry for TMI). I've been bleeding bright red and filling quite a few pads over the past few days and I'm day 14 after the birth of my son.

Is this anything to worry about? I lost a lot during vaginal birth due to ventouse and episiotomy.

Please let me know your experiences. I'm seeing doctor on Thursday and nto sure whether to get appointment for tomorrow instead?

i think its worth seeing the doctor but i had a ceasrean and it went fine no problems at all, but i did bleed bright red blood for a good few weeks, and a few of those clots too! it did start to ease eventually but i think it was about 8 or 9 weeks before it stopped completely, went from bright red to a darker red then to that horride browny stuff.
as far as i know its normal i asked my health visitor about it and she assured me it was normal, obviously if the clot was massive, like maybe the size of a an egg! i would maybe get a wee check up, but try not to worry, its horride but as far as im aware its totally normal, still worth going to see though, even just for peace of mind x
