Induction queries

Just a quick question, was induced with DD1 because I was two weeks overdue. Am now expecting second child. Having been overdue and induced with the first,is the same thing likely to happen again?

Not necessarily. I went 7 days overdue with DS2 and responded to a stretch and sweep performed by midwife at home at 7 days over due. I went into labour spontaneoously the following morning and had delivered with no pain relief by tea time. hope it is as straight forward for you.

Well I was induced at 42 +5 with ds1 and went into labour spontaneously with ds2 on his edd after having no signs at all that anything was imminent.
