40 plus 4, babys head causing pain

Lying in bed with the babys head grinding on my cervix, sharp pains making me wince.

Every so often his head seems to hit a nerve and sends this quite excruciating pain down my inner thigh.

Is that run of the mill or am I unlucky, as I don't recall this with dd...

Furthermore then, can I expect this nerve pain to become a constant when his head is in that position for a while during birth? Yikes

I've gotten that for the last few weeks (am 41+2) and it's pretty painful. The good news is that it does tend to come and go - seems worse when he's wiggling about.
