Periods after cs - is this normal?

Hi

I had an ELCS 10 weeks ago for DD2. This was my second CS.

First time around, my periods were back to normal within the month following, but this time it's been different. I had one very light period about 5 weeks ago (so about 5 weeks after cs). By light I mean, less than a day of bleeding, only needed to use a panty liner.

I've had signs of ovulation again in the past couple of weeks so hopefully will be getting a period soon. Just wondered what other people have experienced.

I don't think having a c-section makes any difference to when your periods start again. Are you breastfeeding? Stopping breastfeeding (at about 5-6 months) was the trigger for my periods to start again after c-s.
