Well ladies - some news from my last post!
I gave birth on Monday morning to a gorgeous baby boy!! Weighing in at 9lb 8oz, we have called him Gabriel.
As you may know from last rantings I was VERY worried about being left to go overdue etc because of previous big babies. . .
So I was induced on Sunday morning and although it took a while to get going (20 hours or so) it was an amazing experience!!!
I insisted on an epidural (despite the horrid midwife's best attempts to bully me into 'just getting on with it'!!) and MY GOD it was just the best decision I ever made. Felt no pain, just lots of pressure and all my fear/terror was kept at bay as I felt totally in control.
6 pushes and he was out, no shoulder dys or any other complications
He is just adorable!! I am in LOVE!!!
So thanks for all your supportive messages when I was in dange of loosing it last week!!
