Is this some sort of labour warm-up?

I've done this before, I really ought to know...

Yesterday and especially last night I had strong but very irregular contractions. Been awake most of the night and had (TMI) somewhat loose bowel movements. I am almost 38 wks. Ds came about 38.5 weeks after a very obvious labour - big water-breaking, steady build of cpntractions. this is quite different.

Any ideas?

That is how my second labor started and my first was similar to your first and I was confused too.

Ooh, fingers crossed then!

I really ought to make the most of having an independent kid for as long as is left, but I am so sick of being pg!

COuld this come and go for some time do you think?

I haven't gone into labour yet but have found second time round to be a lot more niggly. I've had loads of strong bh contractions, baby is really low down and seems to be grinding a lot. Hoping that this is all doing something so when labour really starts its a lot quicker than last time.

I'm also 30 weeks, good luck.

My on and off cc lasted about 12 hours before they even resembled being regular I am afraid. But this did give a lot less of the painful cc . Hope things are moving for you and it is not a false alarm.

It is so bloomin humid and uncomfortable here today too.
