Postnatal pain in the neck?

I had my lovely baby a week ago, it was a long labour (two days of contractions, OP baby, 3 hours of pushing topped off with EMCS!) and though I've recovered well my neck is now feeling a bit achy and giving me a headache - it made a noise like a gun going off when I turned my head the other day!

I've got a midwife check this week so will mention it, but just wondered if anyone else had experienced similar?

Had a similar experience after EMCS (+ 3 days trying to induce the labour and 14 hours of contractions). \mentioned it to doctors in hospital at the time ( a couple of days post op) and they said it wasnt anything to worry about - something to do with the epidural. Sorry I cant be more detailed - memory of the week post EMCS is very somewhat clouded!

Cheers! I did wonder. Everything is aching a bit more anyway after two days of arnica tablets, I was going to start them in hosptial but couldn't get the lid off the bottle
