I'm 39+2 today and for the last few days have been feeling continually mildy nauseous. I don't remember feeling like this with DD (although she is now 3.5yrs so was a while ago). Does anyone else feel like this?

Yes! Ginger ale seems to be helping me, dunno if you like it but if so I recommend.(If you're near a sainsbury's they've got mixers on 3 for a pound just now).

I'm hoping the leader's debate tonight is going to irk my baby so much it'll come out just to scream at the telly...

lol - I'm just off out to the chemist for last minute supplies of nappy cream etc and then I'm officially 'ready' so here's hoping baby will hear some of my signals and come and join us! I feel sick and knackered.....

I am nearly 38 weeks and have also been feeling slightly nauseous on and off since last weekend. It reminds me a bit of the first trimester. Midwife said it's pretty normal, all signs of your body getting ready for birth.

I was just going to post something about this - I feel really bleurgh today, a bit like the day after a hangover when you feel tired and slightly headachey and a bit sick. I really hope this is a good sign cos I can't put up with feeling like this for too long especially with a very bouncy toddler to look after!

oh Ziggy - I know exactly what you mean - it's all I could do to make tea and put DD to bed tonight - and she's been with her grandma all day so I couldn't even say it's been a hard day!! I'm just soooo bleurgh - there's no other word for it. And I snapped at her for ignoring me when I was asking her to do something...poor kid was just excited cos daddy was playing with her! Roll on childbirth...never thought I'd be saying that!

Madcatsazz / Ziggy - im 39+3 and I feel nauseous too.

Let's hope our lo's arrive soon.

As for looking forward to childbirth - mmm not sure about that!

hormonal - I find these last weeks a little torturous though - I've been fine as seeing to all the last little things but now they're sorted, I feel like I'm in limbo....
