I am 36+2 with DC2, with DD I was induced as I had a big bleed when she was due, had ARM at 7cms.

I went to the loo earlier for a wee thought I was all done and as I stood up baby wriggled and there was a gush and I sat down again and there was nothing more. My knickers have been dampish but not leaking. Have been having painful contractions for the last 48 hours (as painful as with DD at the start, they never got stronger than heavy period pains at any point for me) Midwife said ring delivery suite as it is clessed as preterm. Delivery suite said ring back if waters go or bleeding starts. Baby had dropped considerably and I feel as if I cough too hard she will fall out! Which I know won't happen.

Should I ring delivery suite again?

Yes, your waters may have gone. Good luck xx

36 + 2 is a smidge too early, sounds like you might have had a leak reather than a full rupture, but i would suggest you give them a call for advice.. they might want to check you out.. always better to be safe than sorry

with some leaking and painful BH, it is worth being reassured

Thanks everyone

Am on my way down in a little while - just packing my bag which I had planned to do once DD was in bed.

Fingers crosssed I will be back later with stories of only having wet myself

Any updates??

Hiya

We got back late last night baby was being very quiet refusing to move at all and being very still even during the regular 5 min apart contractions. So it caused a little stir I was fed vast quantities of chocolate and food to see if had an effect which it eventually did. There appears to be a 'tear' in the membranes but it has sealed and I am not losing fluid anymore but have been given precautionary antibiotics and told to go back if any more leaking or if contractions get more painful. Have spent the day resting as instructed and am taking bets on this baby not arriving until 41+4!
