I'm 40+1 just had a nice load of gunk which I'm sure you'll all wanna hear at breakfast time, sorry.
Was a lot though, big clump, thick with whitish stringy bits, not like normal discharge.
But very clear and white.

Has anyone had a show like this??

Should I be excited? :D

About to tidy furiously, must get this place sparkelling for arrival XD

Ooohhhh! Sounds like a positive sign!

I had the same with ds2, no blood streaks but just as you described and as far as I know it was the only sign of what I would have described as a 'show'!

That alongside your cleaning urge, I would say are signs things are happening!

Don't overdo the cleaning though, you need all your energy for the birth!

A show can happen hours or days before labour starts but at least you have some signs which are encouraging!

Good luck, have been following your other thread and I hope you get your homebirth!

Thankyou :-)
how soon did your labour start after?

I just got somemore thick slimey stringeey clear gue, lol

With my last two I had a streak of blood though and both were born within 24 hours of it, so I don't know whether this will be the same!

Hi, how are you today?

I had a show after a sweep, and went into labour a couple of days later.

Fingers crossed you will follow the same pattern as before!

Ive been having strong BH for about a week now, involving backache? Which I never had before, will be 36 weeks on Friday but went 9 days over with the last so probably my body playing tricks on me!

Good luck!

Ooh we're similar, I keep having backache and convinced I'm going into labour, then it stops..
Meh!

Mumto2 - I would deffo think that's your plug then!

My first one was clear with blood streaks.

2nd and 3rd I got largish chunks of white jelly, more and more as the contractions picked up.

mumtotwoboys · 13/04/2010 08:54

hehe love the envy face, hey 3 days overdue it's about damn time

Ahh the white jelly excitement heave excitement heave

Well I am due Thursday - I have waited long enough!!
I want my body back! Not as in my figure - don't think I'll ever see that again - but just to be able to sit/lie/sleep/walk how I wish!!

White jelly is very exciting - I am on red alert for it!!

mumtotwoboys · 13/04/2010 09:19

Hahaha

yeah I don't expect to be hitting the town turning heads scantily clad any time soon, but being able to walk a good few miles without a riproaring stitch, drink redbull, stand for more than 10 minutes and sleep properly- all looking forward to.
Being able to pick things up when you drop them too!

Lady I bet you have yours before me, I'm like the woman who was pregnant for a hundred years.

hmm, dunno about that.
I really don't feel like anything is gonna happen in the forseeable future tbh.

I had some cleaning urges over last couple of days - have Cif lemoned my entire stairwell and really want to do the floors but DS3 (16M) will be in the thick of it so gonna do it once kids in bed.
Want to get a mountain of washing shifted before she arrives too so maybe once I get that cracked she might get moving?
