Has anyone had any experience of the hospital at Bangor in North Wales? Any feedback would be much appreciated! x

Hi again! I gave birth there in september 2008 and really, IMHO, the midwives were lovely and I cannot thank the nurses on the post-natal ward afterwards for their help and support after my c-sect when I was trying to get breast-feeding established. So much so that I wrote them a letter afterwards to thank them. I know I may have been lucky and got the nice ones on that particular shift but they were lovely and hard working.

Recently I suffered a miscarriage and as busy as they were, they managed to fit me in for a scan on Francon ward and were nothing but kind and sympathetic. I broke down at one point and the nurse in charge took me to a room and talk very kindly to me which honestly made the world of difference. The lady who did the scan was lovely and kind and sympathetic and made things as easy as she could even though I was upset and in pain so I really have nothing but praise for Ysbyty Gwynedd and I hope that you find them the same.

To join MN local all you need to do is click on the word 'Local' near the top of the page. You will then see Holyhead displayed to your right when you are on MN doing your thing, with all the up to date events happening locally. I'm the local Tsarina for Anglesey so I edit and add listings. If there is anything you would like to add then feel free to or just ask then I will put it up
