4th degree tears- the healing process!

Hi, i was just wondering if anyone out there is in the same boat as me. I had a 4th degree tear 11 months ago when i had my son. It took the surgeon 4.5hrs to sow me up, which then split open again 8 days later. I have been having intensive physio for the last 10 months, but still having lots of problems.... urgency to pee (usually resulting in me wetting myself), painful sex etc.
The physio said there is little improvment in my pelvic floor muscles dispite me doing at least 400 exercises a day!
Is anyone else having this problem?

Not the same problems and not the same kind of delivery but similar and I am also 11 months on now and not better.

There's a couple of threads in the health topic that you might find interesting.
