3rd baby and hoping for VBAC after successful 2nd baby VBAC. 39.5 weeks now. I had contracctions 2 nights ago and went to bed but woke up OK. Some back pain yesterday and then in the evening some proper contracctions every 4 mins so I really thought it was starting. fell asleep and I'm still in one piece now with the odd tightening this monring but nothing regular. Is this stopping and starting normal? With my last 2 I just popped and got started on labour properly - waters went with second one but no waters or show with this one. starting to worry

do yo know what flavour you're getting? They could be here by the end of the day - how exciting......I love their little furry ears and backs when they come out. I have 2 x DS BTW (human ones- not monkey ones - just a bit monkeylike at the start)

I think i'm established
Going up and down the stairs has really jacked things up
Every 4-5 mins
I'm off to phone labour ward as think I might need to go soon
I had a DD and a Ds and they think this is a girl
Will check back on this thread later
All the best and keep positive

Oh - you ladies are worrying me , I'm 32 weeks with my third dc and my last 2 were very similar to your sprogger. Was expecting this to be quick but maybe not. Hope everything gets moving soon for you

LooL00 · 30/03/2010 09:15

I'm scared too, if the third one is like the first I'm in for 36 hours of back labour followed by mad panic. Again dc2 was a calm near-textbook delivery.Good luck sprogger hope things speed up for you.

Have we had an update - did Sprogger manage her home birth?

whoodoo · 01/04/2010 07:42

I popped with mine about 24 hours after my sweep. Got pains the night of sweep (Monday) and then also on the Tuesday am so took my boys to toddlers cos it was easier than staying in the house with them. By the end of that I was about every 4 mins so went up to hospital by 1pm and DS3 (still nameles) came out by 4pm. Had brilliant VBAC waterbirth on gas and air. Hypnobirthing that I did before really helped for what it's worth as did the water. Still getting my head round being a mum of 3 boys!!! Best birth ever once we actually properly got going
