Im 41weeks pregnant today with my 1st baby.
During this pregnancy at the beginner i experienced a handful of back cramps. But over the past week or two iv been getting them about 1nce a day, this morning i got one that lasted alot longer than my usual ones ans it was alot more intense, i had a couple of twinges in my stomache 2.
I have read that back cramps can be a sighn of back labor but because im just getting it on the left side of my back its confusing me, i know the pain isnt due 2 an infection as my wee is checked regulary and is clear and im on antibiotics for an infection about a week ago, but thta has now cleard up.
What do you all think?

it sould like the first stages of labour to me, it could be another 4-5 days but the asme thing happened to me, started on wednesday just as you described and lily was born on sunday. they can get ver painful and intense, making it hard to sleep or sit for lon periods, you should let your midwife know.
