3rd DC - 39 weeks, less movement, painful BH - is it coming soon?

I'm just 39 weeks with third baby. You'd think I'd know what labour starting feels like but I'm so bored and willing this baby out that I'm looking for any signs:

The baby has been really still the last couple of days - still moving occassionally -is this just lack of space or do you think it's sleeping lots to prepare itself for labour?

Painful (period pain) BH - this has been going on for about 4 weeks now but last night got 4 really strong ones in about half an hour. All back to normal this morning.

No waters gone and no show yet.

Is it all just wishful thinking? I'm sitting here hoping I'm 5cm gone without having noticed.

I would agree
No3 as well, and having v painful BH over the last 2 weeks.
I didn't have any in my previous pregnancies, so I don't think they mean anything

I would also call hospital and ask to go in for monitoring, its probably fine but if lots less movement then work getting checked out.
