I know that its very common due to hormones, but i wondered if anyone else felt the guilt trip afterwards? I get annoyed with the people i love and care about the most for no good reason and then i feel extremely bad afterwards...HORMONE!!! [so annoying]
Its come on stronger towards the end of my pregnancy!

LOL all the time! In both pregnancies I was one minute lovely and the next something really minor I'd get totally OTT about. In fact my husband couldn't do anything right on certain days...

I was hideous actually...

Lol well im glad im not the only one. Its just the guilt afterwards that i hate!!!! Im exactly the same, i get very stressed and annoyed over nothing its so silly lol.

I'm barely civil to my hubby for the first 6 months after baby is born

Damn hormones

JamieJay · 17/03/2010 20:19

I've just started getting this at 21 weeks but it's more with people that I'm working with. Especially feel guilty as I'm getting annoyed with people who are being nice (offering to move boxes for me) rather than the twonks that normally annoy me!

tiggz · 17/03/2010 20:25

I wonder how long it'll last for?
I know thats always the way, you get annoyed with the people that are being nice and trying to help, expecially the people your close with...i dont quite understand lol

When I gave up BF my hormones finally calmed and I felt human again AND my labido came back

But I LOVED BF so its a small price to pay

tiggz · 17/03/2010 20:47

Im probably going to sound really dumb but what dose "BF" stand for?

Nearly 3 years later I still feel embarrassed at losing the plot with a very nice partner of a firm that I was working with professionally.

Although I suppose that one spectacular episode helped me keep myself in check for the rest of the pregnancy (resulting in much internal muttering).

tiggz · 17/03/2010 22:05

lol i bet there was a hell of alot of muttering aswell! I think we all get very close to loosing the plot and i think alot of us do!

i've been snapping at my husband A LOT since about 4months! then feeling very guilty later and having words with myself only for him to do something completely innocuous and generally be himself and me to snap his head off again! he's gone from being terrified of the birth to looking forward to it! dont have the heart to explain the hormones dont stop immediately!

tiggz · 17/03/2010 22:35

Yes i wonder how long the hormones last? its good that the people we snap at, usually the ones we care about, understand that we are pregnant and very moody lol
