Anyone have sharp vagina pains?

Since iv been getting closer to the birth iv been experiencing really painful, stabing pains in my vagina. i read that you can get them but im curious as to whether its common or not. anyone else got them?

yupp - 38 + 4 weeks and have been having these for weeks now

Aw i feel for you, its so painful! Aparently its a mixture of baby engaging, cervix ripening, muscles changing and babys head moving on the cervix...so could be a number of things really lol

Yes, both times but only in the 12 or so before I went into labour.

12 hours or so? oo, thats pretty scary. ov bin getting them for the past 2weeks i think they just seem to get worse getting closer and also get really bad back cramps, do you?
