Hi, I am 39 + 3 today and need some advice please.

Went to the toilet this morning for a wee and afterwards went and sat on sofa. Got up and had a gush tried to hold onto it to see if it was wee but couldn't hold it.

Put a pad on and took my ds to pre school and nothing since except the usual low aches that have been have a for a while now.

So what do you think did the pressure of babies head make me wee myself of do you think maybe hind waters?

Not sure if should contact my mw or not

Thanks for reading

if you can't stop the flow that can indicate it is waters.. it might be a hindwaer leak, as you say, if your waters had ruptured then you'd still be leaking..

you could contact labour ward for advice and to let them know, keep the pad on and see if there is any more leaking

I had similar with DS2, sat on the toilet and had a sudden gush, it was in the middle of the night so I just pressumed I really needed a wee! (was half asleep at the time!)

Anyway was due to be booked in for induction the following day so had to call to make arrangements, it was only when she asked if I had any signs that I mentioned the 'gush', so she asked me to come in to be checked.

As lulu said, it was actually the hind waters that had gone!

I would give them a quick call, as I am sure you know the 24 hour advice on infection etc so best to check I think!

Good Luck x
