Just curious, would love a 3rd child but just wondering what everyone has experienced size wise.

DD1 - 7lb 1oz
DD2 - 8lb 13oz - Much easier birth though.

Thanks

DS1 - 6lbs6oz
DS2 - 7lbs
DD1 - 7lbs6oz

So I think 8lbs this time would be a fair guess! More if I don't lay off the chocolate toffees and hot cross loaf

dd1 8lb4oz
ds 10lb6oz
dd2 9lb

each birth was alot easier than the previous one, hardest was the smallest baby

MathsMadMummy · 24/02/2010 10:54

DD - 8lb4oz
DS - 11lb14oz

Was immensely proud to have delivered such an big baby naturally, but have since heard that bigger babies are actually easier - the extra weight helps them along. Hmmph.

Anyway don't worry, you've done it twice before you can do it again!

3m

DD1 6lbs 3ozs
DD2 9lbs 3ozs

What a difference DD1 came out looking about 3 months old, DD1 came out with her hand by her face and tore me quite bad, DD2 didn't even have a graze, far better birth.

DD3 was in the middle at 8lbs 5ozs

DS due in 10 weeks who knows???

steph1512 · 24/02/2010 12:05

dd1 5lb9
dd2 7lb4..but second the althou very quick labour seemed alot worse she had hand over face too

dc3 due in 5wk im hoping it doesnt follow the pain increase factor n im hoping im wrong but sure there are little hands knocking at the entrance this time too!

hoping not another nearly 2lb weight increase either my 2dd seemed big to me

DD 8lb 4oz
DS 9lb 11oz - and again much quicker and easier. No tears, no assistance. Just beautiful.

Size really doesn't matter tbh. The most important things are being upright and active.

ds1 7lb9
ds2 7lb12
ds3 7lb1

Even if dc3 is bigger, the others will have stretched everything and your body knos what to do!

DD1 6lb9
DS1 7lb12

I agree my labours have got a lot faster and easier as well (as easy as they can be would never call labour easy IYSWIM).

I believe there is a general rule that the length of labour halves each time but am sure there are exceptions but it has almost been correct for me.

DD1 4h20m
DD2 2h30m
DD3 1h35m

thats from waters going to baby out, so that means this one should be about 45 mins (I wish)
