VBAC clinic?

I had an appointment with a consultant a couple of weeks ago (I had an EMCS with DD1) which I thought was a waste of time. I thought it was to talk about what happened last time and what my options were for this birth. All she said was "it's up to you, I can refer you to someone if you want to talk about it in detail!"

I have now got an appointment at a VBAC clinic as a result of her referal. I'm not sure if I want a VBAC and I think I am leaning more towards an ELCS. Is it normal to be refered to a VBAC clinic when the consultant has no idea of your preferences? Is this my only option?

Sounds to me like she is trying to be helpful.

You could use the VBAC clinic appointment to explore your options. You won't commit yourself to having a VBAC by attending.
