are you still at home? It does sound like touch and go with you but if you're saying your ctx were really strong last night it's probably not long to go! Best of luck!

nappyzonecantrunfortoffee · 18/02/2010 19:07

sounds to me like you wont make induction - good luck

what DD said

ibetitsonlyme · 18/02/2010 20:58

No waters haven't gone but they said as soon as they go to come in.

Last night was so intense I had the tens on all night! Lots of blood loss this morning then nothing all day Really don't want an induction How can baby number 1 be soooooo early and this baby so late??

PureAsTheColdDrivenSnow · 18/02/2010 21:09

make sure your OH knows how to change the TENS batteries REALLY QUICKLY.

DP didn't. Mine ran out just as DS was delivered. Amazing timing.

It's ages til your induction, you're already 3-4cm. There's no way baby will wait that long

Wishing you lots of good luck and hope baby starts making his/her way into the world soon

Sorry about your uncomfortable night but it's great to hear things are getting started. I'm sure you won't have too long left to wait.

ibetitsonlyme Hi, I'm 40+2, had a similar night to yours last night. Really bad contractions, but then went off. Saw Midwife yesterday, said she wouldn't give me a sweep till 41+1, and would book me in for an induction at 42 weeks also. My first baby came at 37 weeks, so like you, I'm really suprised to be 'this' pregnant.

How're you getting on?

I'm getting on my excersize ball right now :-)

ibetitsonlyme · 24/02/2010 15:19

hello ladies!

Baby Henry 7lb 14oz arrived 40weeks +5 on Friday.

First contraction at 3pm, needed to push at 3:30pm, got in a panic, called DH and mum, pushed in the car, head crowning in the reception of anti natal, waters all over the floor, made it to the 3rd floor where he popped out at 4:08pm! Post birth counsiling session already booked in......the speed has really upset me

Pain was horrible, no chance of pain relief or antibiotics for step b, but after a 4 day stay in nicu we are home and coping! Toddler a bit intense but Henry is sooooooooooooo ease! Give me 3 newborns anyday, toddlers are HARD!!!

Thanks so much for keeping me going in the last week!
