40 weeks with urine infection?

At my check up yesterday I was told I have a urine fection and was given antibiotics.

Anyone knows if this brings any risk to the baby during labour, to transfer the infection? Or any other risks?

He also found glycose and said it could mean diabetes and wanted to do another check 6 weeks from now. Anyone knows what this means?

Didnt want your message to go not answered.. my sister just had ds and she was 42 weeks with urine infection and taking anti-biotics labour was fine and so was baby so dont think you have anything to worry about - as for the glucose not sure, but from my own pregnancy I dont think it is anything too serious! good luck x

I had a UTI at 41+ weeks, ds was born at 41+6 - he was fine, no infection etc. Just make sure the antibiotics they give you are fine for this stage of pregnancy AND for breastfeeding(if you want to) as my GP hadnt thought of that!
