Have been looking at the "Physio Med TPN 200 Plus" as it looks the most like the model I used in my first labour.

The hospital leant it to me so I don't know what they used but am keen to make sure I get a good hospital quality one again - rather than one that just looks pretty IYSWIM.

Does anyone have experience of this make/model or know of any other really good ones?

Thanks

I hired mine through the 'New Road Clinic". Although it was very reasonable to hire it worked brilliant for me. If you google them they should come up. They were recomended in our antenatal classes. I think they ell too if thats what you're interested in.
Hope that helps!

Oh, thanks MrsFlyingKebab they look very similar to the one I used in the hospital...

I found TENS incredibly annoying, just like being flicked in the back, I was like WTF take it off.
I don't know how it could help

I used Elle TENS, the one recommended on the NCT course both thimes. First time I hired, 2nd time was able to borrow from a friend. I was sceptical to start with ( a friend had the same experience as Mummyof2byapril), but figured it was worth a try. I found it like having a continuous massage, and the boost button was good for contractions. In fact, this was the only pain relief I had 2nd time (pool as well 1st time so obviously it had to come off!)

I just found a HUGE bargain!!

This TENS (recommended by the hospital and my physio) is £57 from the supplier themselves - but then I found this...!

Bargain!!

For anyone who is interested.

I was looking at the Elle but they're much more expensive and the one the hospital leant me last time was just like this so am hoping I just got myself a good deal.

Just need to make a decision re: breast pumps now.

Apparently the TPN 200 is no good for childbirth - it doesn't have the boost button.
