Mini contractions for 12 hrs, could it still be false alarm??

Im expecting my third baby, 38+2 weeks.

Since 8pm last night, have I had mini contractions, not regular but pretty much the whole time. Painful but not too bad -like they are in the beginning, cramplike. Haven't been able to sleep, took 2 Paracetamol and slept for 2 hrs and woke up by the discomfort again.

Could this be the start (a slooow one) or still false alarm? Anyone whose had similar and still been days/weeks away from birth?

start of it, imho, especially as it is your third.

Very exciting!

That's how it started with me - had a show and start of mini contractions 8pm saturday night, no sleep that night, DS was born 8.59pm sunday night.

Keep us posted and good luck

Any news Ninni? How are you doing? x

Hello, thank you for your messages!

No, no news I am afraid... the contractions eased off around midday but seem to have started again. I guess if it doesn't kick off tonight it's false alarm....

My other 2 started so differently, one with waters breaking, no contractions, and the other with major contractions (born 1.5 hrs later...)

Just don't like the thougt of having these cramps on and off for a couple of weeks-I'll be knackered by the time it starts for real!

When are you due Bicnod?
