Hard stomach

When I have been to see the MW the last 3 times she has commented on my hard stomach and how difficult it is to palpate. It's constantly hard.

Going by the size of my stomach during my last pregnancy I should have had a reasonably big baby-but she was 6.5. This time my stomach is big again although MW agrees it's mostly water rather than baby

Someone on another thread was talking about polyhydromnious. Is it possible I am at risk of this?

I had polyhydramnios with my 3rd baby, I was huge and uncomfortable for most of the last 4 month. Because of the ph I had more frequent scans and extra monitoring to ensure the baby's and my health, I remember being hard and tight across the abdomen. However my MW did at one checkup say my baby had his back towards my belly button and that my abdomen felt more rigid because of this, so maybe your baby was in the same position.

If you have Ph it should be picked up on your scan, mine was, and extra checks/monitoring will be arranged so don't worry too much, ask your MW about it.
