Towels for water birth?

Am hopeing to have a water birth at the John Radcliffe in Oxford. I will obviously be packing a towel in my "after the birth" bag, but do I also need to take a couple in my "labour" bag as well or do they usually have them in rooms with a pool?

Probably best to ask your midwife, but when I used the pool at the hospital here they provided hot towels for me when I got out.

Good luck with it!

Wow Biccy, that sounds very spa-like, I can but hope!!

Just remembered that they didn't provide any towels, hot or otherwise, for DP though, who had been in the pool with me and then spent the next hour and a half shivering while I gave birth to dd on the floor (the heating in the room had broken though, so it was freezing, which is why I got out of the pool - it was just too cold to be anything but fully submerged and I wanted some gravity in play!).
