sex after bloody show

I know the mucas plug is there to prevent infection. If it has come away should you avoid sex? Am being induced on Saturday and working my way through the old wives tales for getting labour started. On tonights agenda - cumbersome sex...lost my plug earlier though, is this a problem? waters haven't broken.
