When did your second baby arrive?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Had my first at 35 weeks - still waiting for the second to appear, 37 1/2 weeks and counting! How far along are you?

jicky · 26/01/2010 22:05

Had my first a 36 weeks and second at one day after due date.

First at 36 weeks - to the day; second 2 days past due date (although I had serious pains dead on 36 weeks again....)

My best friend had her first at 36 + 3 so booked her maternity leave for the second to start at 35 weeks, she was mightily unimpressed when DC2 waited until 41 weeks to make her appearance!

Going against the trend here...

1st at 36 weeks
2nd at 34+4

No apparent reason for either being early.
MUCH more prepared the 2nd time around- bag packed at 30 weeks etc.

1st baby 35+4
2nd baby 39+6 - I was told the entire way through that he would be early so to be ready from 33 weeks!!!! Little bugger!

Currently 14weeks with dc3 - and guess what - 'be prepared for an early arrival with this one...' my mw says not convinced personally.

dd born at 36+1, still waiting for this one at 38 wks, have been expecting him to come early for so long that I feel like I'm already a month overdue and I haven't even reached my due date yet

flybynight · 27/01/2010 12:29

My first was 36 weeks, my second about 39+5 or something like that, my third 42 weeks and induced. Currently 28 weeks with dc4 and no idea what timescale to expect.

thanks all.....won't hold out much hope for this week then!
