39+4 - Sickness bug in dp's office - WWYD??

Dp has just phoned to say that someone has gone into work ill with a sickness bug. The person has gone to a meeting room to work but will still be in contact with what dp uses.

I have told dp to come home. Am I being over cautious?? The thought of having a bug now makes me very worried.

No I would do the same, HTH.

The person with the bug should be sent home.

Personally I wouldnt be bothered just tell him to use good hand care washing his hands etc. Numerous times you come into contact with people who have sick bugs etc and dont pick anything up.

They wont go home! Dp said they were ill last week with something different so they need to make up for that time off!

Annoyingly though, I have been v.careful recently so that I dont catch anything!

Dp is wiping everything with anti bac wipes and will come home when he can!!

If we did get it and I went into labour whilst ill what would happen??

Definitely over-cautious in my book. There are bugs everywhere and you are exposed the whole time anyway (particularly if you know any little kids).

And won't it make your hubby look like a bit of a nancy boy at work?

mama2moo · 26/01/2010 10:48

Maybe I am being a bit anal! I just hate the thought of being ill in labour.
