I know this has been asked thousand of time but I'm a first timer.

I'm 36+4

Since last night I have been having some period like cramps, increase pressure at the level of my pubic bone (baby was starting to be engaged when I saw the mw on Tuesday) and very bad backaches at the level of the shoulders and kidneys.

I haven't had a show (at least I'm not aware of it).

Do you think it has stated or it's just my body preparing itself?

Many thanks for your advices.

it is probably juts your body preparing and telling you to take it easy but contractions get stronger and more painful, hth
and good luck.
