C-Sec site has become painful should I worry?

Had a C-Sect 11 weeks ago and it appeared to be healing beautifully. A very neat scar just numb feeling across the top of it up to an inch high.
Had started to rub almond oil gently into the area in the last few days - as have been told this helps dissolve scar tissue.
Have managed to do my back in this week from carrying heavy baby in car seat for too long. Then last night was lying on sofa with my legs up on the arm and suddenly felt shooting pain on left hand side above the scar. It is still feeling tender here this morning. Am not sure if this is just the feeling coming back / nerves reconnecting or should I be more worried about internal stitches? It looks fine from the outside. It's the weekend and really can't be doing with an unnecessary trip to A&E which is what NHS Direct will most probably tell me. Any thoughts / other similar experiences much appreciated...

I don't think this is normal. If the pain isn't too bad I think I would wait until Monday, but I would definitely go to the PG on Monday if still in pain.

If it is really painful then i would call NHS if you can hang it out and feel well i'd wait until monday, i had my section a yr ago and i remember that happened to me about 12 weeks on, they told me then however everything was just getting back to normal, and it did, but i would check to make sure.

How are you now?

My scar would give me jip for ages afterwards. BUt you should not have carried the baby car seat!!
Rest up, that is what your body is telling you. I would sometimes get shooting pains up either end point of my scar, the consultant said it was just healing together and was quite normal.

Thanks or all of your comments. Feeling much better now. It's week 14. I guess that's not so long really when you consider that a C-sec is major surgery. No idea why people opt for this over natural childbirth! Any tips for flattening the stomach again?
