Saw the mw today and he is engaged 4/5 (but think 1/5 engaged 4/5 palpable) but she said she cant move the head. I am 36+5.
Have been on BP tablets now for the past week. With DS1 and 2 they never engaged properley they popped in and out. but I cant remember the mw ever telling me they couldnt move the head. My first never engaged as she was a footling breech.

So come on humour me.. do you think he will still pop in and out or just keep settling himself down.. Due the 14th Feb but think more the 16th as both boys were 2 days over.. part of me secretly wanting him sooner. I am just at the what is he going to look like stage, is he going to be a cryer, or a content baby.

Braxton hicks I get them but not every day when they come they take my breathe away and last a few hours every 20 mins... they were regisstering on the CTG .

Another question.. both my boys were fast once i got to 3cm and they were both OP. DS1 3cm to delivery 30-40 mins 3 pushes and DS2 3cm to delivery 15mins and 2 pushes.. MW did say today that he is in the optimum birthing position.. do you think this will make things even faster.. Have heard the OP deliveries are alot more painful too does this mean that this shouldnt be as intense.. or are they all the same..

Thanks in advance..

I've only had one (so I know nothing ) but I went to see my mw the day I went into labor and my lo was not engaged and had been popping in an out the 3 previous visits and mw couldn't move the head the times she was engaged.
Which is no help to you what so ever... but it'll bump this thread.

Personally it sounds like you're in for an easy ride i.e. engaged and in optimal position
