There 's no should or shouldn't about worry -you are anyway, aren't you? You're not overreacting.Go and get a check over this morning.
All the best.

Go and get your blood pressure checked. As soon as possible - definitely today. I don't want to add to your worry, and it's probably just your cold but there is a very small chance it could be the beginning of pre eclampsia. If you have any other symptoms - visual disturbance, any swelling of fingers, abdominal pain, then take it very seriously indeed.
Take care - good luck

How are you feeling now? Agree with others, you obviously are worried so calling the MW will put your mind at rest.
If it helps I have only ever had migraines when I was pregnant, horrible things, but obviously was nothing to worry about.

mummynumnum · 16/01/2010 08:10

better with tablets, although tired as a result of lack of sleep and 3yr old bouncing round with dh at work!! Just going to try surgery again.

Meh, I wouldn't worry about being horrible to them for a few days while you feel crap whilst pregnant. I am sure they won't mind and at 3 she won't remember mummy feeleing bad one day, don't beat yourself up.
How long is your DH at work?
Have you got the telly on yet? And if not, why not

mummynumnum · 16/01/2010 08:37

Telly on and being v good-DD not dh.

Sadly dh at work sat and sun.

Got to get dd to ballet at 11 and may have to call MIL in.

Horrible and hysterical this morning. Did not help that as finally got to sleep, dd decided to have the early of early mornings!!

They are good at that, we had a friend staying last night, I was up until 2 drinking chatting and boys were still awake at 4ish. DD's woke at 6.

I have just put a dvd on

I am lucky that DH is off this weekend, normally he works weekends as well, I find it really lonely as all my 'mum' friends do family things on the weekend with their DH's and I am stuck with no-one to meet/talk to so I can sympathise.
Call your MIL now, maybe she can take DD so you can get back to bed?
Have you spoken to MW yet?

mummynumnum · 17/01/2010 18:08

All ok but in agony down below.

Have you been seen by your M/W?
Sorry, but you just said 'agony'.
I'm a nurse if that sways you..... and mum of 5....

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 17/01/2010 18:42

You need to see a doctor - you may have pre-eclampsia which maybe life threatening, for you and your baby.

Bari · 17/01/2010 19:26

Would agree with above. Go now to labour ward and don't leave until this is sorted one way or another.
Take care.

mummynumnum · 17/01/2010 21:38

Headaches have gone. Perhaps agony a strong word but pain to walk. Uncomfortable to sit down. Almost throbbing like pain. Dd never did any of this so feel bit scared by it all.

Any show? Discharge? Blood? Do you know for sure where the placenta is? Baby moving OK?
No two preganancies are the same!

mummynumnum · 17/01/2010 21:50

Baby moving so relatively reassured. No show
or blood so good. Feel like could gush water
any min. That's the sort of feeling.

You should try and see a midwife or doctoor today.
