Ceasarean - post op swelling

Has anyone experienced any swelling after a C-section?

I had my op a week ago and left hospital after 2 days with legs like tree trunks. My feet are swollen, bending & flexing ankles and toes is uncomfortable. MW has suggested getting out and about but with all the snow & ice I am staying put.

Any idea how long it might last / or any ways to alleviate it?

I had this after epidural - very uncomfy, but it does pass... about a week if I recall. Just mobilise gently around your home whenever you can... much safer than on ice.
