Slendertone + diastasis recti?

Also posted in Style and Beauty as wasn't sure where to post. Have had no response there, so thought I'd try here!

I've been doing the Tupler excercises I got from my Mama Mio bootcamp for tummies, and they've been working- slowly.

I have a Slendertone belt. Would using one make my diastasis recti worse? I know you're not meant to do ab crunches, but what about a Slendertone?

What do you think?

Bump because I just dug out my Slendertone and used for an hour the last two days. My diastasis type stomach looks dreadful this morning. Enormous (

I bought a slendertone today but now I'm thinking I've wasted £70 as I also have split stomach muscles :(

Personally I wouldn't. Tupler exercises for closing a diastasis are very specific (that whole thing of pulling your belly button towards and through your spine). Unless you try and replicate that movement whilst you're using the slendertone but I'm not sure if that's advised or even possible as I've never used one. Personally I'd save the slendertone until you've closed the diastasis sufficiently. Plough on with the Tupler excercises. They do work in the end, although there is no quick fix (annoyingly). It's slow progress but you do end up with abs of steel as a result, which is a prize for all the weeks of tedium and pain.
